I’ve had a number of people ask how they can help Sister J. The most pressing need currently is financial. If you would like to donate to help with funeral costs, please do so at www.jamaicamissions.com. [a long time coming]

i realized last week that i haven’t logged into my myspace account in as long as i can recall. if it wasn’t for ping.fm, my account would have remained un-updated - as it had been for almost two years.

given that online marketing is a sizable hat that i wear often, i’ve rationalized keeping my myspace account open “just in case” i need it [for research, incase they turned things around, etc.].

so, i logged in.

immediately after doing so i asked myself “why?”. myspace led the way in many aspects early on - you’ve got to tip your hat to them. but, with all the other social avenues out there, i cannot find a useful purpose for myspace in today’s social environment. it’s not even worth letting Ping update my status for me.

unless someone out there in the web world pushes back and gives me a good reason to keep it, the end is near for my life on myspace.

incredible. absolutely incredible.

incredible. absolutely incredible.

the events of this date in 1944 changed the course of history. we all owe those that made it happen our gratitude.

the events of this date in 1944 changed the course of history. we all owe those that made it happen our gratitude.

if you're going to work...
